PICS COMING SOON

I have an interesting coraline or something similar, its dark, and hardened, comes in smaller starting specs than the "normal" pink coraline patches in my display. Its a deep blue, and comes in typically speckled small groups.

There is a type of coralline that is blue (and many other colors actually). I've read it usually grows in lower light than our traditional purple/pink, but I have absolutely no experience with it. From what I understand it's fairly uncommon.

Interested, waiting for pics...

My rocks are encrusted with dull kinda pinkish, dark brown/red, and brighter purple (I think,,, color blind).

Only coralline on my glass so far is the "normal" pink you mentioned (that starts as small patches).

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
