In all likelihood, you will see the first evidence of coralline on something in the tank that is plastic.
I was thinking this was the OP's plastic and that does look like coralline algae. :cool:

I agree with previous comment that its Carribsea artificial painted rock like what i started with. my coralline only started after at least 1 year.
