Hello all!

I've had my reef up and running since September of 2013. I have come a long way in the time period learned a lot! But am happy to state my reef is healthy my fish are healthy and I'm so happy with what a great community and hobby this is!

Now enough talking let's post some pics I'll start from the beginning my initial setup all the way to today!

And today! After a desire to rescape inspired by the owner of the forum. I set out to rescape pulling all rocks away from the glasses and with lots of high and low places to plant corals!

After much changes things are coming together very nicely! Slowly everything is filling in.

Did you have any trouble getting him to eat at first?
One of my favourite lions for sure :) Although everytime I see one, I have to look a bit closer to see what ends his head and what ends his tail lol.

Lol actually when I went to buy him I told myself if he eats frozen he's coming home. And of course he's home so he did eat frozen. It was a tiny piece of silverside and he ate it fine. Got him home and bought some silversides cut him pieces but he wouldn't eat I was confused so as I'm feeding the rest of the tank some mysis he comes out and starts grabbing these tiny mysis so I could only assume I was feeding too big of pieces so yes he eats no problem. I fed him probably 6 mysis yesterday he's good for another day or so!

He doesn't eat like a community fish he needs target feeding but I hope someday!

Awesome! I've heard some stories about fu manchus not being easily weaned onto frozen foods and eventually starving. It's the main reason I've been putting off getting one.

Anytime you do just ask to see it fed and if it eats frozen easy peezy! Lol I lure him out a bit to see him too!
