Doing a water change today and one of my clownfish came to the top of the tank and looked like it was threatening me or something. It started to worry me as if I'd be picking up a fish from the ground. Thankfully no fish escaped, but now it has me wondering if that's normal behavior?

My occ female is a turd. She bites and comes up to the surface when I'm working in it. She's the only clown now and it's gotten worse

Occ clown. good to know that this isn't out of the norm for her to be like this. the other three, male clown and 2 chromis, hide in the rock work the entire time. Maybe she's amazonian?

My experience with aggressive clowns in order of most aggressive to least (I've been bitten by all of them below though)

1) Fire clown
2) Maroon clown
3) Pink Skunk (these three are nearly tied IME)
4) Tomato
5) Ocellaris

I've only been bitten by these but the ocellaris I've had dozens and only one large dominant female tagged me every once in awhile. The first three (especially the skunk and fire) would do everything they could to tag me. The maroons were sneaky...

My female recently started attacking. Might have to do with adding a juvenile.
