I love to watch my urchins moving slowly across the rocks. I like especially when they are on the glass and I can view their oral surface as they are grazing. It is memorizing and a slight hypnotizing. I find myself watching for far longer than intended.
my favorite is when my urchin goes coral shopping on my frag rack lol

My new hairy chiton is very slowly decimating hair algae at the back of my rockwork. I can’t get a picture of him, but he is from reef cleaners. My conch, Marcel the Shell, has the best personality, and destroyed the diatoms in my new tank set up when first added, so he is also my lovable hero. And my tuxedo urchin is so entertaining with his new weekly hats.

I think it would be my tiger conch. It’s movement is the least elegant thing but so interesting to watch. I actually have two. I added another one after I hadn’t seen the original for 5-6 weeks. The second I added the new one the original came flying out of the sand. Here is the original waving hello.

My conch is my favorite too! He's the only one who survived hurricane Ida from my first set up.
He's still doing great, and slugging around eating hehe

Yes, I have a yellow Atlantic cucumber that I love. His name is Karl and he does a wonderful job keeping my sand clean and aerated. He will spend days in plain sight and then be MIA for a week.

The mushroom coral. Still waiting....
And waiting....
And waiting....
And waiting....
Oh did it move!
Nope.
And waiting...
Gone on vacation for a week...
THEY ALL MOVED.
It is kind of fun watching them disappear and then reappear months later. Or their offspring sometimes. Same with the flower anemone’s.

My favorite is a sand dollar I purchased many years back. I don't see it, only the bump of sand covering it as it moves back and forth across the sand bed. It takes about a day to traverse my 6 foot 180. It's about 3.5 inches in diameter. And, it is a great sand cleaner.

3 way tie between: fighting conch, strawberry/tiger conch, and sand dollar urchin! i do have 3 hermits as well, but they move significantly faster than these 3!

Elephant Snail, it actually lives in my sump because it chooses to. I've returned it to the DT twice and it makes a two week trip back to the sump thru the plumbing. I call it the blob. Great algae eater and it loves nori. Probably to big to make it thru the plumbing anymore so he's staying in the sump.
