Can anyone ID this? I got curious about my microfauna and grabbed my ancient microscope - apologies for bad camera work and dirty lenses.

Found it sucking up a couple MLs from my sandbed with a turkey baster, it was a barely visible spot to the naked eye. It almost looks like a pod inside of spikey shell? or something coming out of a spikey egg sac? Interested to know.
