This is probably me just stressing over dumb stuff, but...
I'm in the process of setting up a new 220 gallon reef tank, and I'm ready to start curing the dry rock I've purchased for it. I was on my way to pick up a large, 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank in which to cure it, when it occurred to me that I had two 40 gallon breeders sitting in my garage collecting dust.
My question... Is it best to cure all of the rock together, or can I put half in one 40 gallon container and half in another? Anyone here know there bacteria well enough to to be able to say that I won't end up with one colony of greasers and one colony of socs who are going to feel compelled to rumble once I put them in the display tank together?
