The Current USA LEDs at 24" of length only put out 18watts of LED, lighting, what your looking for is 50-60 watts of 3w leds, as this is about equal to a 250w halide light. I'd not think you have enough light, nor the correct kelvin range either.

If you want something in the 150-250$ range you can either go to one of these Sites. They are bought Highly Recommended.

Reef Radiance - Home

Or you can go here.

OCEANREVIVE LED

The Seccond link was just running a sale. i dont no if they still are. But hit them up. Also if im not mistaken there both Vendors on the Boards.

Hope this helps you for your LED problem. I would have done some Research before you have bought those LED's , words of advice. Always Do your homework even if the guy is "10 Years" in the Hobby. sometimes people tend to not know whats best for your tank as well as there own.

If your budget is like 500-800$ then i would go with these lights. tehre Really Good and Tons of people use them with No complaints with Growing any type of coral.

Dude. You're awesome. So the 48 to 60 is 46 watts? Is that good enough?

No, its covering a bigger area, just has a few more LEDs than the smaller units, they don't cut it light wise. Not enough Leds at a high enough strength.

Zoas don't need incredible lighting to just survive. To thrive, they need better, but yes, they will suffice hopefully for the interim until a new unit can be aquired.
Minimum requirement for LEDs is 1w per LED. Thats what I would advise, then we could discuss the spread.

Cool i was concerned about the size of the light over a 48 inch tank that has the brace in the middle so 2 of those lights would be ok
