I recently bought an Orbit ic loop led for my tank. I basically got it just for visual purposes as I also run 4 T5 bulbs. I am having trouble with the light coming on when I set it to, and going off when I want. Does anyone have any experience with these? I figured u set an on time and off time, select the colors u want and the rest is history but apparently not. Lol. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

If I remember right they have a ramp time built in. So whatever you set as stop and start times will be added to the front and back.

Hello,

I know these lights extremely well even though I use the model 4011 pros. If you give me a little more info I can tell you exactly how to set the ic loop controller.

I follow the instructions to set up the light but they don’t turn on and off when I want. For example, I have them set to come on at 6am and go off at 8pm but I have to turn them on and off myself

I literally have the channels all set the same cuz like I said I just use them for visual appearance. So the red is at 10, green at 10, and blue at 100. Not like I’m trying to do anything crazy with them. I don’t even have the weather on

Hello,

Sorry I didn’t respond sooner, you have to set the clock first etc. then set your timers per channel and you must hit enter each time. What the instructions don’t say is if you hit any of the weather buttons, color etc that it removes it from the timer. If you have your timer set in a preset example or mode you would to click that every time after you changed your weather or color setting.

No problem at all. I mean how dare you have a life!!! Lol j/k. It actually turned on by itself today. I have no idea what I did but it apparently worked. Lol. So I’m basically going to leave it alone. Like I said I am literally just running the blues. Mostly for visual appeal. But I thank you much for your help!!

Can you help me? I bought one off Amazon and it's like the remote won't work it only lets us change the white blue etc but can't turn it on off or change the time. Nothing.
