Beautiful fish

how big do they get ?

move always wanted one but read 400+ gal as a minimum
18" for wild ones. He's not growing as fast now. Definitely going into the 200+ that's on the way. 400 gallon is great for a pair or more.

Measurement is top of top fin to bottom fin. Nose to tail he's maybe 5 - 6".

I’d have to upgrade again from the 230

I’ll start talking to the wife now . Hopefully by next year the upgrade will be underway lol

I just asked her “ can I get another tank a little bit bigger she said yes .

don’t mention size all is well
When you're ready to get one let me know and I'll tell you the easiest way to keep them healthy. Hint: it all starts with fresh hatch brine shrimp babies. They have a tiny mouth.

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
