Hi all, been a hobby a year so still learning allot.

My situation.
Upgrading to 150 ,40 gal sump. Cycle started 13 days ago, dry rock was cooked in salt water trash can for 4 months.
Bio spira added
Ghost feeding pellets and mysis
Coral from old tank was added from old tank5 days ago and are doing great.
During testing only saw ammonia rise to .50 then slowly drop off. I never saw no2 at all. So I never tested no3.

Today tested with Same API test and:
Ammonia 0
No2. 0
No3. 10
Dkh. 9.1
Calc. 420
Mag 1350
Ph hovers around 8 to 8.1 all been real stable

I'm confused on readings so I'm going to get same test diff manufacturer to verify.

And question is when can I add 2 - 1 1/2 inch clowns and weeks to to follow add rest of fish . Thanks in advance and sorry long winded

Jared

I think I will after I retest with diff kits
That's a good idea , but because you already mentioned that you'd put corals in and everything was doing well , I'd take that as a good sign of your water quality.. tests will only verify what your corals are telling you :D

Yea what they said - you can actually start adding now. Pace yourself with each addition and test ammonia, if it comes back 0 after a week or so, you can add more. Make sure your filtration keeps up with your stock load
