ok thanks to some great friends for the help and getting the show on the road! today we did the hardest part, getting the stand joined and level. we added 30mm polystyrene and placed the first base panel on to get things level before we start with the build.
the floor was a little skew, so i have added steel plates so that the stand touches all the way round.

so after a great breakfast and some chatting we started....

Very nice. I considered running a seahorse tank in conjunction with my reef tank, but didn't have the room. How are you going to keep the seahorse tank cooler than the reef tank if they are interconnected?

thanks, the plan is to have the one return from the chiller supply that side, i currently keep my sea horses at 24deg and no issues in years

Well work has had me busy, but a lot has changed for the good, instead of sump etc under the tank, I have decided to use my garage as a fish and sump room. I will now have a 1000L sump with 2 300L LR tanks and coral frag tanks, also a 6ft DIY fluidised sand bed filter. For nitrate and phosphate control will be using orca Nitra guard bio cubes.
So this should bump my system up to 3000L

Also looking at geo thermal heating and cooling as we have warm winters and warmer
