Why not? I found his talk to be awesome with regards to light and flow and alk.

So how is temperature a variable. Say temps in the 77 to 78 ranges versus temps in the 79 to 80 range?

The only problem would be the same problem from the previous tests. Need to do it with about 5 or 6 different corals from different areas to get a better look at whats going on versus just a single coral sample.

You will see a better growth at higher temperature, especially corals originated from tropical reefs. My chiller has been out of service for two months, and my temperature is between 27.5 to 30.5 and my shallow SPS are loving it. Once my split unit chiller is up, I will keep my tank at 28C.
