I couldn't see the video, but I've had the best results cleaning algae with snails (turbo snails, astrea snails, trochus snails).
They're easy to acquire and not too expensive.
If your tank is large enough (again, couldn't see the video) there are fish that may eat algae more aggressively (tangs).

Other advice is to check your phosphate and get it down if it's high - to help limit growth.
You can also apply hydrogen peroxide to kill it off, but it will grow back if conditions are right (light, nutrients, etc).

Do you have a video under white lights instead?

What does your CUC look like?
What about your parameters?

here is a little better video. The dark tuffts I zoom in on are all the hairy algae. I couldnt figure out how to get the AI blades to all white without losing my custom light setup. Nitrates are 4. Phosphates are .04. ALk Ca etc are all in recommended levels.

Also CUC is a bunch of snails and a few urchins. Tank is 200 gal. Also have a variety of tangs. My astrea snails had babies so they are all over the place. Then I have a variety of other ones.

Unrelated - I have the same issue, so I got a cheap led light bar that I use when I want white pictures (it's for under a counter or in a garage or something - like $20 on amazon)
