My tank has sat fallow except some cleaner up crew and other inverts. I recently ousted about 60lbs of live rock and because i'm fallowing my tank for parasites, and my fish are in quarantine, i am rebuilding it using NSA-ish rockscape. I will still use my live rock, but will add some marco here and there as needed to make my structures.

My plan is to drill into the rock using my rotohammer, and put fiberglass rods in for main support, followed by some epoxy and finally superglue.

My equipment is as follows:
150 gal oceanic glass tank 4'x32x29
40 gal acrylic homemade sump (will be modified heavily or replaced)
2 Kessil A360x
COR20 return pump
Neptune Apex
2 DOS dosers
Breakout box with
2 ecotech mp40

Sounds exciting!
Im pretty excited. Ill start doing the rockscape tomorrow, so by the time my tank is done fallowing, the few pieces of marco rock I end up adding will be cycled as well.

i have noticed that I need to keep feeding my tank (happy shrimps) during the fallow so my nutrients dont fall too low. The tank has really been set up for 20 years or so, just went through a burn out faze after the fire. lots of good bacteria to keep fed.
