Hi from mechanicville. New to the forum. Haven't had a reef tank in 5 or 6 years but getting back into it. Lotta new stuff out there these days it seems.

I'm looking for a pump for my old reef octopus. Wondering if anyone has suggestions on good quality DC pumps, preferably with variable speeds.

Also it's a very tight fit in this little eshopps sump so if someone could point me in the direction of those little black flex hoses I've seen on a few skimmer pumps I'd appreciate it.
Would there be too much vibration with mounting the pump on the wall of the sump?
