So strange that I woke up this acro dying from jelly. Should I just frag it or should I dip instead. I got coral rx on hand

Depending on the underlying cause, neither option might save the coral. Once a coral shows symptoms, it's often already too late, and a coral dip appears to be no replacement for an actual treatment (if a treatment is necessary or even possible at this point).

I personally would start by finding out why the coral is struggling in the first place. Too much or too little light or flow, as well as "bad" water parameters, come to mind. Something has weakened that coral to the point where it started to show symptoms, so that is something you need to fix or the issue might return, even if you manage to treat this coral successfully at first. 😕 Good husbandry will be key for long-term success either way.

Once that's out of the way, you can think about an actual treatment. As we have no way to properly analyze the underlying issue, the "go-to" approach has basically been throwing prophylactic antibiotics at corals and praying that it works 😅. Alternatively people try out coral dips but their effectiveness hasn't really been shown scientifically yet, so I'm a bit skeptical.
