default reset for aquacontroller jr

ok i picked up a AC jr from a guy a few months ago and i have been messing with it trying to figure out how to get it to connect to my pc to where the program can be re-written. it will not connect to the pc at all, and still has all his programming in it. i talked to the guy i got it from and he said he had to do somethign one time to get it to reset but he coudlnt remmeber what exactly. any help would be appreciative!!
