That needs to be changed. Do you have a tds meter to check water? I don’t go off the color, I change my DI when my tds reads anything past zero. I have seen tds at 1 or 2 when half the resin was still blue.

I’ve added a second di catridge on my ro unit and with all new membrane sediment carbon filters and 2 brand new di resins Ive made about 100 gallons of water and my tds after 2nd di is 33. What is causing this? What would you all suggest?

Did you make sure you packed it in there good? If the media isn't packed correctly the water will form a channel and bypass most of the media... ask me how I know.

Can you measure TDS before the DI, after the RO?

Ok I just read after ro before di and I’m getting 0. I checked it after my first di and before the 2nd di and got 0. Checked it after all filters and 2nd di and got 23 ppm tds. could I have this thing hooked up wrong? I have it coming from Source into the top of the Sediment cartridge, out bottom of sediment into bottom of the Carbon filter, out top of carbon into top of membrane. Then bottom of membrane I have on left side going to waste filter and out to drain. Rh side bottom of membrane I have coming to bottom of first di then out the top to bottom of second di then out the top of second di to my storage container.

Bit confused but;
Source should go to sediment filter, then carbon, then the single end of the RO. Other end of RO has two ports, one off center one goes to drain via the restrictor, other central one goes to DI. Is that how you’ve got it?

Edit - your RO is fed from the top so may be full of air

I have it exactly like this photo except the 2nd di. The 2nd di im entering the bottom and exiting the top.

Is it supposed to be run vertical. Not seeing how the air can leave the RO casing, being filled from the top.

I don’t see what you mean everything is vertical Except for the 1 line going from bottom of sediment to the bottom of carbon cartridges.

According to aquatic life’s Twitter it can run either way but.. who knows.
