What is the pore size on your sediment filter?

recommend you switch you carbon blocks - always put your highest capacity block first, right after the sediment

I'm not sure on the pore size of the sediment filter... either 5 or 10 microns.

I always thought you put the highest micron filters first? That's why I have a 5 micron carbon block before the 1 micron.

The concept of successive filters having a smaller pore size is a good one, but it applies only to sediment filters. Size the sediment filters appropriately given the pore size on your carbon filters(s) and then put your highest capacity carbon block first.

If my tank salty is enough and want to add pure water (can i add well water without filtration unless make it in open and hot area for 24 hours for making chlorine go away)

Exactly for that reason. Do you know everything in the water? It isn't just Ca. (and what I think you mean magnesium not manganese).

If your tank needs supplementation such as Ca then you should dose food/lab grade products.
