Diamond gobies

I added a diamond goby to my 20h 6 days ago. He started sifting sand a but then the next day I couldn't find him. I saw where he dug a lil hole under a rock. So I though he was makin his burrow. Well I decided I wanted to trade him back to the lfs cuz I never see him. I did a water change and re arranged my rock, I look underneath the rock and he wasn't there. Dug in the sand, could find him. Is it normal for these to completley bury themselves?

Yep, check outside, diamond gobies like to jump.

i looked all around, not under my bed, not behind the tank, not in my filter, he's is in the tank, just not sure where

Same thing happend to me. I put him in he dug a burrow was happy for 2 days, and the he disappeared. I checked inside and out, nothing. Waited to see if he comes out, never seen him again. It's been about 2 months now.:sad:

got a pet that would eat him outside the tank? they can jump out anywhere... Or if died in tank your cleanup crew could have taken care of it for u
