Diatoms?

Just confirming. Tank has been up and running since the day before thanksgiving 2018. This is the first sign of any algae and I’m assuming it’s diatoms. Put it under a microscope and this is what I got.

Is this in fact diatoms or something else I need to move on.

Nope. Comes off pretty easy.

I know nothing about the microscopic view. Diatoms are normal during a new tank set up. Almost every new tank startup experiences an algae cycle. Welcome to reefing.
