hi, yes and no... plate/disk looks ok..fungi recover well.. :)
Thx Frank!. Guess I'll pull the brain :( I really liked him. We were not nearly as ready as we thought.
We got the Alk under control I think but the algae (from the frag plugs I guess) has nuked the tank and the 5 snails and 2 conks cant keep up. Going to get a bigger cleaning crew and maybe hit the tank with some peroxide.

Have power issues on that circuit as well so waiting on a power bar and I'm going to run another dedicated circuit just for that tank.

Goes to show, you can throw all the money you want at a setup but this hobby will still humble you! ;Sorry;Sorry

My wife @TDiefRN is a Super Star! She worked all weekend to figured out why the Alk tanked. We got everything dosed including the mixing station which I would have thought was OK.
As she said we did lose the Fusion Brain but everything else came back great.

Even the plate looks great (horrible pic I know)

Plumbing for the 120 is finally done!

Did you catch the photo bomb from the cube tank on the other side of the room? :p

Doors are on the canopy and working on the light rack. Hope to have it all in place and water by the weekend! (I know I have said that before, Dont judge me ;Joyful;Joyful)

Way to go TDiefRN. Plumbing looks great as does glimpse of other tank in background. Coming together nicely.

Good Morning Folks!
Trying to dial in the 120 but the Eclipse L overflow box is way to loud.

Not the Bean Animal setup but the water coming from the tank side to the external side is like a water fall.

Anyone see any issues with using this in the tank side besides the obvious need to clean from time to time.
I put some in but its a tight fit and I dont want to stuff it all the way down so I can get it back out if needed :p
It does restrict the flow a bit so it raised the water line about 1/8 in in the tank.

I'm sitting in my office and I can hear it out in the living room. It sounds like its overflowing and really stressing me out.

I'd be concerned about flooding... but everyone has different tolerance for that.

it's a very inadvisable tactic to quiet the weir like that. There have to be better options than that. It's going to overflow eventually guaranteed. It's not even a question. Without regular maintanence it will overflow.

Perhaps you can cut the sponge in half, lengthwise, so that it's only covering the side of the weir that the water falls down, the front side. You could use a rubber band or some way (zip tie etc) to keep the sponge attached. Basically it would allow you to have extra space behind the sponge where water can overflow in case the sponge becomes totally blocked.

LOL, my tolerance for flooding is very low!! I dont know anything else to do to quiet it down :(
I'm not familiar with that style of overflow. So im not much help. I just couldn't put any restrictions on an overflow like that. I wouldn't be able to sleep.

Thank you that sounds like a good idea. make it so it can overflow the sponge if it needs to..

Thx @F i s h y . I like @NotASpammerDude idea and think I will try and figure something out like that.
Would hate to flood the living room and then basement because of a sponge!
