Difference between 20k/30k Leagues Lokani

I've tried searching the forum and google but haven't really figured out the difference between 20,000 Leagues and 30,000 Leagues Acros. They both pretty much look the same to me in pictures. Is one just a deeper purple??

You left this wide open and I couldn't resist, The difference Is 10,000 leagues, All kidding aside I'm Interested In the answer as I want one of these and would be curious as to any difference. As you stated they both look the same?

A league in marine terms is 3 nautical miles, one nautical mile is 6080.27ft, one league is the total of 3 nautical miles, according to my engineering hand book. A Fathom is 6ft, 120 fathoms=1 cable length, 8.44 cable lengths= 1 k mile. those then would be some really deep corals!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think when they grow out they look different, I have the 20k but no 30k so not really sure

I have both, both are still frags. I believe the 20k is suppose to get more purple as it grows out. Also hear the 20K is harder to keep and color up. Maybe someone who has colony's can post more about them.

i dont think there is many people out there that have colonies of either i have a frag of 20 want a 30 people asking to much for them

I've got frags of both too. From colonies I've seen pics of, the 20k tends to hold a solid purple throughout, whereas the 30k develops a cream-colored base and has hints of green in it. My frags seem to hold true to this as well.

Ok, so from peoples pics and explanations:

20k Leagues:
Blue, slight greenish base.

30k Leagues:
Purple, slight tan base.

Correct?

My 20k that came from exotic frags is purple with greenish polyps. 20k is not blue for sure.

heres my '30k', it has deep purple tips, green and tan base with green polyps.

30k is a lot easier to keep "happy" and well colored

My 20k grows like crazy and is one of the nicest acros in my tank. My 30k frag died not sure why it was darker purple. I will try it again soon. Here is a pic of my 20k....
