It'll take a little explaining. Beyond this forum. But the idea is run your own email server that can forward to your own Gmail account to email your self notification.

Net mod -> internal mail server that works with net mod -> Gmail account -> you personal email account.

Awesome thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into this. By any chance would this compromise security of my home network in anyway, like port forwarding? If so what security measures would you take?

I gave up too, couldn't find an email provider that worked.

I got it working again using smtp2go.com port 587.

I just bought an apex EL to run alongside my reefkeeper purely for the notifications/alarms lol. That and DA tanked so when my reefkeeper fails I'll have that ready. I will probably do the leak detection stuff too.

I will def use smtp2go too though if that works

Just fyi smtp2go only has a free trial, it's not free. Not sure how long it goes though
