I have the 2 x 54w 48” retrofit kit from BRS and it is the dimmable version. I have been searching this and other forums for specific answers, so I thought I would throw my latest out there for the experts- I think it is probably an easy one.

This kit has one ballast and two bulbs are wired to it. The Apex cable has two sets of wires connecting to an RJ45 that goes into my Apex Classic.

Is it possible to dim the bulbs independently or must they be dimmed as a pair since there is only one ballast and one place for the dimming control wires to be inserted? I didn’t know if the Apex cable’s two sets of wires (black and red, green and yellow ignored) could be connected and inserted.

Thank you for any input.

Heres a bump for you. I would think with one ballast that the bulbs would have to be dimmed at the same time but I also don't use apex.

They will most likely will all have to be dimmed at once
