I just added 2 XHO 50/50s, but now think my tank is too white. I have a couple questions about.
1. How do I know whether it is a single channel or 2 channels on this fixture?
2. What kind of dimmer can I use?
3. Can I just dim the whites on the 50/50?

TIA

I’ve seen the one on BRS, but just curious if any of the ones on Amazon will work, also if I could just control the white.

At first I didn't think you could dim just the whites, but after looking at the app Reef Brite 2.0 that's used with the Reef Brite Bluetooth Controller, maybe.

Looks like it has dual channel control.

Give Bulk Reef Supply a call. I'm sure they can tell you.

I was looking into the Reef Brite one on BRS when you posted this question.
I would see if there is a app to control the amazon one.

My only problem with the blue tooth dual channel one on BRS is the cost…like $170 I think. I think just the plain old in line dimmer on BRS is like 18-19 each. Just looking for other options.

First what does the power supply state as its output?
Second are there 4 or 2 wires going to the light head?

That you can use something like this means it is easy to dim and may have 2 channels.

To have a lot of 3 rd party choices the
power supply needs to be constant voltage and be between 9-24 volts dc.
Wattage per channel will matter as well.

I have 2 of the add on kits on my radions and the dimmer that they sell has only 1 button. Pretty sure it won't work to lower I'd individual channels. Only the overall brightness of the fixture. Mine are only blue and my understanding is 50/50 is just that no matter the brightness.
