My nitrates were at 0 and my po4 were at 0.02 when my tank was all brown and yuky. I raised them to nitrate 12 and po4 0.2 but the tank was still brown and yuky and this was over a couple of months I just recently added a 55w jaboa uv 3 days ago and the tank looks nice and fresh barely any brown snot and crystal clear water.

still free from the brown snot. My nutrients are still high they are not coming down. I have still have not dosed nutrients and I’m too scared to do a water change in case the ugly snot comes back. My filter sock which is positioned on the outlet of the uv used to get changed 3 times a day now it’s lasting 3 days before needing changed. I think the Dino was my unwanted way of controlling nutrients lol
