Doe anyone have ideas for dirt cheap lighting of softies and lps in a 24" cube. This is just transitional till I get a hydra 26 hd.

Easy to build there are tons of DIY on you tuber including using PVC pipe. Paint it black and it actually looks...decent lolThat's interesting. I would then need a cheap mounting option.

I know. It's a tough spot. I have a mixed reef 29biocube with a hydra 26hd. I think I need two for the 24"cube but I'm not ready to spend that yet. If I can move the softies over, buying some time to save I can start enjoying the cube and allowing it to mature for the sps.
I did test the 26 HD on. 24 cube.
With the extra possibility that you can move some channels to 140% I was able to grow SPS in there with just one light.
To a point my Inferno and Sunburst nems were splitting every month at least I had to move all SPS back into the frag tank.
That's encouraging. Did you have any issues with shadowing or spread?
