Hello all, my question is simple.

Currently I have plenty of light, but I was wondering if I had supplemented my LED's with a T5 strip would the diversity of different lighting benefit my corals? Or just be a waste of my money and time since everything looks good as it is.

It's possible.
Folks are adding t5 for two reasons.
Increasing spread and reducing shadowing.

Adding spectrum.
Leds produce light of a limited range by set chemical elements in all leds that is then filtered into the preferred colors.

T5 uses a mixture of a number of elements that is heated to produce light of a specific color range. Then in some tubes a color filter is added to the glass to further refine the color. The spectrum of the t5 runs from true UV to IR but is contriolled by the mixture of gasses to peak in in specific frequencies.
Many speculate that some led don't produce this same natural analog spectral curve. So they add t5 to supplement.

But if your adding two t5 to a strip hanging 15 in over a tank. No. It's probably not worth it. Like a flash light on a sunny day.
