How does one make a lid for your tank? I could make a screen lid easy but my ai prime mounts would make that hard to actually make. Ideas? Ive had to many fish jump out

You could get window screens made to size at the local hardware store, or buy egg crate and cut it to size.

i did what @BlennyTime suggested. made a cover with door screen components. took me 10 mins & cost was under AUD 40. had to improvise a little coz of my light mounts.
custom acrylic lids were quoted at $600-800:eek:
no fish snail (or coral ;Dummy1) has managed to slip through in last 2 months.

I always use screen channel and vinyl screen. Here is an old nanocube I did awhile back.

I just made a window screen lid for cheap. My only concern is frame material seems like something that rusts easy. Maybe I just rushed and bought the wrong thing

If its metal or material that can rust, I'd remove it. Redsea sells a DIY kit at decent price.
