Recently i lost a coral because of bubbles in my tank so im wanting to buy a ato and wanted to know if you would reccomend a diy ato or a factory made ato if you recommend a factory made one which one woukd you suggest buying... Another questions i have is that why is it that some sps that i had were completly fine but others die from the bubbles

Two float switches from BRF (I've built several and the like the budget ones the best), a piece of egg crate to mount it on, an extention cord from the dollar store, a relay from Radio Shack and a 9-12 VDC charger for an old cell phone or similar device and you're into it less than 25 bucks. Works well. I splurge and spend 3 bucks for a hobby box to house the relay.
