DIY CHEAP LED REFUGIUM LIGHT

Looking for ideas to make a cheap LED refugium light. I currently have a small led clip light but was told on another form that it was insufficient which is why I could t even grow cheato??

Ebay gu10 led bulbs and sockets.

There is a guy who has a fixture for his display using gu10 bulbs.

I actually bought a flood light recently that is LED from home depot for not too much and its doing it's job... should get 10 years out of it for $15 or $20 i think it was

Is there a particular spectrum that I need to be looking for?

Not sure. I've always ran a daylight CFL.

You can get a cheap LED grow light on amazon.

Some of the fancier setups run the purple kessil. So find out what spectrum that is.

Amazon... 10w LED floodlight. 6000k spectrum $11 bucks. Just need to wire in a couple dollar connector. Some come with it for slightly higher price.
