Made this wall and some rocks a few months ago. Cured for 1.5 months and it’s ready to roll now.

I think that looks very cool also. Any trick to having it adhere to the back glass like that? Or does the base part of it simply support the weight?

And what kind of concrete is used in this. Just the Sackrete stuff?

Correct it supports It’s self.
I use Portland cement and oyster shells and mix it to oatmeal Consistency

Are there any issues with leaching contaminants with concrete? Looks like a good idea, but I’d want to do it correctly if i ever did it

It does look great. Do you have any pictures of your tank with the concrete rock in it. I have some rock I made that has been curing for a few months in water. So I was just curious as to how your tank looked with it.

I wonder if a guy could inject air into the wet concrete and get it nice an porous to act as additional biofilter.

Looks cool.

95% of the rock is concrete I’ve made
