Diy led dimming apex etc..... ????????'s

I'm pretty sure that I do NOT have the Lite (the main module DOES have the V1/V2 and V3/V4 RJ45 plugs) but I don't see anywhere in the Outlet Setup configuration menu for Variable outputs. What (and where, if not in Outlet Setup) specifically should I be looking for to setup the outlets?

I'm gonna give this a shot ahahah.... V1 and v2 are your dimming outputs if you go into the menu on the pc you go to outlet setup and then you need click the drop down box for v1 type in your commands for on and off do the same for v2 etc.... Nm i suck ahahahah I could show ya in person but without having a pc and the menu in front of me I will mess this up....:( hopefully cj or snoop pops in they can prolly explain this I just barely learned it....

This actually worries me A LOT ... I paid for a 'full' Apex and I'm wondering if I got a Lite ! Does anyone know if the hardware for a Lite includes the V1/V2 and V3/V4 plugs for the variable speed outlets ??
In my Profiles Setup, I have PF1 thru PF16 (I have renamed PF1 and PF2 to W_Sun and B_Sun
In the Outlet Setup, there is no dropdown for anything resembling a V, Virtual, or Variable
(according to the User Guide -- "The outlets are named VarSpd1_I1, VarSpd2_I2, VarSpd3_I3 and VarSpd4_I4 by default." )

If you have the Apex, you should have two phone jacks labeled V1/V3 and V2/V4 (IIRC). In your outlet setup, you should have Var1 through Var4 that you can configure.

Yeah when I upgraded mine I got a lot more features... If you could post a pic of your module I would be able to tell ya....

Does your module box have 2 ph ports one that normally runs orp???? That's a regular apex the lite I believe only has one you have to buy a module for the second

That's definitely possible, but I'm pretty sure that the variable outlets have been in the firmware for quite a while.

I'll have to wait til I get home to confirm the 1 or 2 ph ports ... I know that I have one ph probe, but not sure if there is a 2nd port

If you have 2 rj45 ports it's the regular apex not the lite from what I just read.....

The only file on their website is 4.04-2B11 and my main module does have the 2n ORP/ph port and two VS ports (RJ45 plugs)

so you got the standard apex not the lite..... and the 4.04-2b11 is the newest and what i run on mine..... all the setting is either under profiles or system i can't remember which one...
I got this from an RC thread in Neptune's sponsor forum. It was posted by Curt.

After verifying that I had everything correct, I did a re-initialize of the outlets (System - Init Memory - Init Outlets) and I now have Variable Speed outlets :-)
Bad news is that I lost all my original programming. Yes - I did back-up my outlets .. but I think that since I have so few, and all of the new stuff (dimming LEDs) is in this thread, I'm just going to start over from scratch.
