Man, Amazon is WAY too convenient. You can find anything on there. I ordered some pods to seed my new tank and figured, well if I’m going to buy them, I might as well split the bottle and try to grow them so I have a continuous supply.

I couldn’t find a cheap two hole stopper flask, but a drill bit worked just fine in the rubber. Just had to upsize the bit a little since the rubber compresses when drilling.
It’s a little overkill, but I think it’ll look way cooler than a recycled 2 Liter soda bottle.

Now I need to decide what to use for a light before the pods arrive.

Well done. They don’t need a light, I wouldn’t worry about it. Ambient light is fine, or else any light you have laying around your house.
