DIY mount for 4 prime HD’s for my 90 gallon. The body is made out of 80/20 extruded aluminum That I cut and bolted together. The light mounts are made from aluminum bar that I cut bent to shape. Sanded drilled and painted. The wood and the clamp or just a representation of how it’s going to be mounted on the wall above my fish tank. Thanks

Man how did you not get any replies to this? It looks excellent, bravo. How did you mount it to the wall? What was your all in cost for all the extrusion? I'm setting up a peninsula tank, I wasn't sure how I could extend the lights 30" over the tank. Seems like this would work, anything you would change if you remade from scratch?

First off thanks! I mounted a thick piece of HDPE to the wall studs and then screwed the light to that. All the material ran me around $80-$90. I started with wood mounted to the wall instead of HDPE. The HDPE works better

Resurrecting an old thread! How are those elbow brackets attached to the aluminum rail? Where did you get those elbow brackets? What’s the length of both ends? The horizontal and vertical length. I’m trying to build a mount for two ai primes over my 20 gallon peninsula.

I just saw your post. Here's a thread for the mount I built and all the hardware.
