DIY Sump

[Coral Stimulation]

I have a 54g bowfront corner tank. As you probably know, the base is hard to fit any standard sumps in. I'm thinking of building a sump out of acrylic and incorporating a skimmer area, Algae scraper, Colerpa & LR.

Couple of Questions: Does anyone have a setup similar to that? Should I use Miracle Mudd as well?
