Do fish like to be petted?

My coral guy has a large blue hippo tang in one of his frag tanks, comes half way out the water soon as you go close and loves to to be pet, he also has an old trigger that will spot water at you until you feed it.
 
My ruby red wrasse used to love being petted!!! So did my midus blenny when ever my hand was in the tank my wrasse would always run on my hand like a cat…unfortunately he died he got aggressive with his own reflection and died from stress and he messed up his mouth since then I never got another wrasse like him he was very unique to me and beautiful
