Do I need to specifically feed nassarius snails?

I'm asking this because I have 6 nassarius snails in my 150 gallon and I never see them at night which made me wonder if they had died buried in the sand.

Mine tend to pop out during feeding time. I always figured that if at least some food winds up on the sand then they will sort themselves out.

Mine always came out when I fed. I used to add them 100 at a time in my 180g and never fed them just fish and coral.

Mine always come out when I feed. Be it mysis shrimp or some algae wafers.

I don't feed mine, they just eat when I feed fish or corals.

Mine won't come out until lights are out so I feed them once a week .
