Most longnose hawkfish I see in fish stores and pictures are mostly covered in white with red stripes. However, occasionally I see pictures of some almost entirely covered super deep red chunky individuals on the internet and at an aquarium before. Does this have something to do with maturity of the fish?

(I want my hawkfish to look like the deep red alpha one ;) )
