These little guys have been in my tank for about a week or two, the orange female and the soon to be black and white male. I’m wondering if they look healthy because I’m not a expert in saltwater quite yet

Sorry to see your fish in distress!

Maybe the R2R #fishmedic team can help out 🙂

Good luck!

they look nice! are they doing something that you are worried about?
No not really, I’ve just never kept them. They are super young, both probably under an inch. They are fading colors a little but acting normal. I saw people saying it could be disease or just because they are juveniles, but they seem to act all normal

It hard to tell from a picture. But at long at they eat and swimming normal they should be ok. How is your water at far at nitrite and ammonia go?

and they seem to be acting normal

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

If you post a clear video, I can tell a bit more based on their swimming and breathing.

I just made a new post, the male isn’t looking too good. He just looked super sick and got super aggressive, I think it might be a swimbladder issue because of the way he swimming he darted around super fast before pausing and just floating for a while and then repeating it and unfortunately, he ended up dying. He did not show any symptoms at all prior today.

Sorry - I was out sick yesterday. Swimbladder issues aren’t immediately lethal, so something else was causing the darting.
