Are these just adjusting to new lights? Amazon product ASIN B0819MQQ76I have them in a 10g with canister filter seeded from dt. The long polyp leather keeps extending then pulling polyps in.

Light may too bright

They look okay but I’d recommend a different light. Those MIGHT be enough for softies within close proximity but won’t do much
I'd love to be able to get a better light but that's all I can really afford right now for it.

I won't be getting any really difficult corals so I hoped this would be enough. I'm just not familiar enough to know if something is dropping or stretching for more/less light.

Yes, I used that light on my coral qt and it’s fine for Zoa’s and softies. Just need time to acclimate, esp the leather.
What size QT did you have it on?

Did you run it full power?

Thanks everyone, I'm still learning daily.

Had the 36” version over a 30 gal. Started at around 60% blue/ 5% white and worked my way up over several weeks to 100 blue/10 white. Swapped out for the viparspectra since I wanted more par for lps/sps.

Thanks, maybe I'll turn the white down more tomorrow and see if it changes.

Zoas are really flexible with light, if you notice them extending it means they want more light. If they still look as they do in the photo then it’s likely sufficient for Zoas/softies. LPS would prob require more power though
