First I would like to see who can identify this coral. Also explain why it is doing what it is. It is healthy no pests have had the coral about a year.

Looks like a torch corral. Is it growing out of a hard base or soft? If hard then I'd say torch, if soft then maybe an anemone? Not sure why it's doing that. What are the rest of the main parameters? (phosphates, nitrates, ammonia, etc.)

Gonna start calling it a bounce torch

Low magnesium, get it over 1500....

Magnesium supposed to be between 1250 to 1350 is what I have read is the standard +-50 points where are you getting 1500?
