Let's see how many of us use a ground probe or GFCI outlet.
As for me, every piece of equipment I use is plugged into a GFCI outlet.
Everything except the return pump for me. It's never tripped but if it were and I wasn't home the return pump will keep everything alive until I return.
That's nice, do you run it on back up battery?
I have my vortechs backed up, not sure how the battery will do on the M1 though.
No I really should though. I do have a 7500 watt generators that primary reason for existence is to power my tanks but I have to hook it up.
I remember when Hydor first released the koralla. This was before I had my tank on a gfci 90% or more of them leaked electricity. All my snails stopped moving but didn't die right away. I couldn't figure out why until I put my hand in the water with a cut. I exchanged them several times then they'd leak again. To be fair they fixed this problem many years ago but anything could end up leaking eventually.
