Does anyone have a Kessil 160we and kessil spectral controller? (Help)

Hi I bought a kessil 160we and a kessil spectral controller second hand. I got my head around setting the intensity and time. np problem. However I could not get the light to turn off at the end of the cycle. So I turned the light off manually before I went to bed (it should have turned off)
Anyway I have been playing around for a while now and experimenting. I would like to ask some questions of someone who has experience with that light to answer my stupid questions.

It now turns off, as per program preview if the intensity on the lamp itself is turned to zero
Q1,Is the position of both knobs to be turned to (colour and intensity) Zero to run the program and not overide it??
I programmed on quikset #1and acclimation. I feel like I need a "set" button to hold the program
Q2 Do I just leave the quikset #1/acclimation icon turned orange (selected) and walk away? or what should my controller screen look like when it is set and I walk away trusting it?

Hope my questions make sense. It has been doing my head in;)
