Does Cespitularia Sting Other Corals?

The cespitularia will continue to outgrow the acro and the problem will only worsen. While you don't have to worry about it extending sweepers or anything like that, having them touch is not a good idea.
 
Fyi...might wanna isolate the cespitularia...that stuff is worse than xenia when it comes to taking over...
 
Mine just sent out a new foot this weekend. You can see it on the left near the bottom. It already has several heads popping up.

Mine seems to be on the move as well. I thought I killed it when it got sucked into a powerhead, but is making a full recovery. Interested to see if the whole coral moves or if it is just expanding.

I’m wishing I had gone that route but my research said lots of light and good flow.

Nope just personal experience. Sends out large tongues like shown above and smothers whatevers in the way. And fast!
