Hey guys. So their is this wierd small black clump attached to the side of my zoa. In the center their seems to be this little creature. Impossible to see with naked eye, but if I zoom in you can see what looks like a small critter, inside a clear looking sac. He pops in and out of it, and their seems to be mucus coming from it.

No idea what this, was hoping someone can give some insight

Impossible to tell by your picture but your descriptions makes it sound like a vermetid snail.

Based off description spirobid was the first thing that popped into my head. I couldn't see the picture well enough. Put a little dab of super glue over the area the mucus comes out and it will kill it.

It appears to be a vermetid snail; I say this because of the shape of the base and what I assume its texture to be based on the photo.
