Does this look like the correct RO/DI fitting?

I'm having a heck of a time buying the fittings to install the RO/DI unit under the sink.

So this is what's under my sink. It's pretty straightforward, we'll put a "T" right above the cut off valve.

I went to my local plumbing supply store armed with this picture and they sent me home with this:

It seems easy enough but I don't understand what stops the 1/4" RODI tubing from sliding out from the side of the "T". I haven't tried cranking it down with a wrench, is that the move?

It feels like I'm missing something.

It's a compression fitting. Slide the RODI line through the brass nut, then slide the nylon fitting over the tube. Then screw it into the side of the T.
You can also go back and ask for John Guest fittings.

Yeah as poster said. Compresstion fitting. Nice to have a speed fit (John guest) for this though.
