picked up some frags today and the guy gave me this piece for free do you guys think its save able pretyy sure its a chalice what can i do to try and bring it back? low light?

As long as it still has flesh it can survive. I would put it down low in your tank in a medium flow area and hope for the best.

There is always a chance and i agree that if you have the right parameters it could make it. Keep it low and monitor it.

You can try to spot feed, but I would wait to see how it responds to the low light low/medium flow first. Make sure tour water quality is spot on..... Good luck

I have had a chalice recover from a similar situation before, just make sure to keep it somewhere in the tank where it's happy and nothing can sting or bother it. Good luck. Oh and feed it if you see the feeding tentacle out

just wanted to post a updated pic its almost been two months and its starting to heal nicely also anybody id this chalice or is it just a common red chalice
